...It's "f*ck Costco!"

At least the one by my house... and not the whole Costco, just the food court... and not even the whole food court, just the yogurt machine... the chocolate yogurt has been replaced with "acai"...

I don't know what an acai is, i don't know where it comes from, i don't even know how to pronounce it... and quite frankly, i don't wanna know any of those things...

They still have vanilla, but it's worthless because you can't get it covered in the sugary syrupy strawberries...

Instead, for $5, they'll give you a bowl of "acai" yogurt topped with totally syrupless fruit and some kinda oat and granola mix that i can only assume was diverted from a horse feed manufacturer somewhere...

I'm thinking about picketing or something... maybe stand outside with a petition... something has to be done...

I think you got a legitimate beef....in fact, go ahead and fuuk the 'whole Costco'

Not sure it's enough for its own thread, but I guess that's your prerogative...might have been a good time to resuscitate the 'Rant' thread, but never really sustains itself without life support....so, I suppose...go ahead and **** Costco

Sunday I made the mistake of pulling into a Costco parking lot somewhere in the burbs because I needed to turn around. Hadn't been in one in probably 20 years.

It was miserable. I ended up in some "gas" line because I was trying to find a way out.... There were about 50 cars trying to get gas... I had to turn around and go out the in lane....

I would never sit in that lot just to get cheaper gas. Ridiculous.

Macs gave me a good tip on dealing with those gas lines... only certain pumps have diesel and regular gas, and for whatever reason, even if you don't have diesel, using those pumps will get you in and out of there much quicker...

Just in milk and gas, our membership pays for itself in a couple months... but we're in the unique position of having a newly built Costco 15 minutes away... it's never crowded during the week... even the pumps rarely have a line when i go...

Costco is awesome. Love that place... I might have to try that mushy acai crap just to reinforce how awesome Costco is (it's probably good).

The açaí palm (Portuguese: [asaˈi] (About this sound listen), from Tupi-Guarani asaí[2]), Euterpe oleracea, is a species of palm tree in the genus Euterpe cultivated for its fruit (açaí berries) and hearts of palm (a vegetable). The common name comes from the Portuguese adaptation of the Tupian word ïwaca'i, meaning "[fruit that] cries or expels water". Global demand for the fruit expanded rapidly in the 21st century and so the tree is cultivated for that purpose primarily. The closely related palm species Euterpe edulis (juçara) is the primary source of hearts of palm.[3]

^^^ acai has become very popular. One of the Acai drinks even has it's own pyramid scheme.

Don't knock it until you try it. The dark chocolate covered acai berries from Costco are fairly tasty.
