You don't have to like the sport, but its obvious you are not following it and your thoughts are a bit dated. The flopping issue is not totally resolved but they have made great strides without being draconian. There are rules and VAR.
I like what they have done, and if you had watched this world cup (which I'd guess you have no interest and even less knowledge about) you'd see flopping really has not been a huge issue..... neymar and what the mainstream media is telling you to think aside. its still there but not as you describe. I think you are out of your knowledge zone.
This is pure awesome.
In the history of sports talk, there has never been a discussion where somebody said "I don't like soccer", without hearing "well, you just don't understand it".
here we have yet another variation of it.
It's hilarious.
TW, you need justification?
OK fine.
I didn't watch enough of the world cup to have an opinion that matches yours.
But it's a catch 22. I don't watch because it's a joke sport. I can't be expected to watch and simply hope that it won't be WWE acting on the pitch.
Soccer fans are so needy.
And please don't misinterpret me. I am NOT being sarcastic.
If anything, I am understating how pathetic they can be.
We'll probably have to wait for a reply from TW.
He's too busy flopping to type.
(STILL not being sarcastic)
I do admit that I didn't catch your Neymar joke.
You claim that FIFA is addressing the flops? Didn't Naymar help Brazil beat Mexico AFTER a flop episode?
