Boo hoo!

Last night @ FIOLA RESTAURANT ( an upper scale Italian near the Smithsonian) the Cruz's were "protested and socially/verbally pounced upon" by anti-kavanaugh protesters called
"Smash Racism DC"...they(Cruz's) were yelled at and given the finger by the lowlife thugs intruding on a "night out" by the Cruz's...

What a total bunch of CRAP.

LEAVE THE GUY ALONE, HE'S EATING DINNER FOR GOD'S SAKE... ( IF I WERE CRUZ, I'D APPLY FOR A FEDERAL CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT
AFTER THAT...D.C. IS almost impossible to carry in , at least 5 years ago it was?)

Ted, screw FIOLA'S...NEXT TIME , GO TO THE OCCIDENTAL GRILLE...THOSE COMMIE SNOWFLAKE
PUUUSSSSSIIEEESSSS NEVER WOULDA' gOt tHReW the frOnt door at "the OX"....
and the OX has several escape routes outta there ...to get away undetected...but you prolly know that already.

Liberals are a dangerous bunch.
Once saw one use his purse to slap a guy trying to prevent a flag burning.
If not for the broken fingernail the flogging might have continued.

I’m no fan of Cruz but this is rediculas and uncalled for. We should all condem this.

If I saw him I’d just quietly walk buy. I might crop dust but that would depend if it was before or after the meal.

Seriously we need civility regardless of whether Trump and indeed Cruz do.

I’m sorry. What if the crop dust is accidental and I apologize.

I’m with the Trump supporters on this one. We need a return to civility and decorum as they suggest.

You sure they weren't Trump supporters who were upset because his father was with Oswald shortly before the Kennedy assassination?

Disagree. All these f*ckers should be harassed. Republitards and Democraps alike. They should be dogged and harassed and made to feel as uncomfortable as possible until they remember who they serve. I fully support this kind of endeavor. I'm not advocating violence against them but every damn one of them deserve public humiliation until they start acting like the servant leaders they are supposed to be.

We should have listened to the liberals.

When Trump got elected they said that was the end of civility.

And here we are two years in and the left has abandoned civility.

Nostradamus has nothing on the moon bats.

.... Is the one harassing Cruz really the snowflake here? Or is it the guy running out of the restaurant because he's being "harassed"...

Not stating an opinion on the incident. Just think people need to start considering using the term snowflake to describe republicans more often. They seem to be doing a lot of complaining about people being mean or rude to them... Running away from getting hurt feelings... Generally stuff that would cause us to say "get a coat" in here.

The only balls Ted Cruz has are the ones bouncing off his chin from deep-throating some billionaire. Notice I said they should ALL be harassed. Every one of them. I also think some heads should be put on sticks in front of the Capitol Building as a warning to others. The Politicians that have sold this country to outsiders and big business are the scum that requires a real rain to wash it away.

We're good, Jonesy. I don't need a truce with anyone.

Until these f*ckers do right by this country they should feel like hell hounds are on their trail. F*ck every single one of them.

Hmmm

Ya know, was a time when I sorta admired Gillibrand....rarely agreed with her, but thought she was a good representative and person. But she has really seemed to have gone off the deep end....just another loudmouth partisan hack anymore

Snowflakes on both sides. No doubt.

But Cruz was with his wife.
It takes a genuine, bonafide, weak wristed snowflake to harass him like that.

yeah, families should not be subject to attacks on the politician...

but if this becomes the standard for confronting a politician in a public place, this could lead weak and cowardly public officials to decide to only go into public places with their families, using them as human shields...

it is becoming increasingly difficult to speak with our representatives in person...few do town halls, hold office hours where they are available to phone calls or emails or in person visits, especially when in their home districts and after the outrage over the destruction of Obamacare...

You equate group chanting and harassment to "speaking" with our public officials?

that behavior was supported by the cons when the Tea Party was doing it...if I recall, something about free speech...

there's a reason why the burden on public officials to prevail in libel and slander suits is so high...they chose to enter the public arena...

it may be a reason why Congress has such a low approval rating among all Americans...they are all perceived to be out of touch with the people they supposedly represent, and have chosen to bunker down and spend their hours listening to lobbyists instead of their own constituents...

I won't apologize for how pathetic our government officials have become, but you're blaming the representative for the action of these misguided buffoons?

no, incivility and boorishness is inexcusable...

my point is that our representatives have to make themselves available for the people who want to petition them...

The chant wasn't "I've tried to contact you in the office numerous times."
These moonbats were just poking the bear hoping for a reaction.
Classless.

There is a time and a place for getting in politicians faces. It is NOT at dinner with their families. Go to their offices and yell, let yourself be known. Email them. Write a letter. Join a protest. Confront them at their workplace. But rise above harassing their families, they all deserve better than that.
