I have so many ashtrays I lost count. Favorites though are:
(1) the Stinky floor-standing ones with handle on top and an integrated table for drinks/cutters/lighters/etc. Nice shiny stainless. Got four of them, and also have four stainless tabletop Stinky ashtrays too.
(2) the glass Rocky Patel ones, circular with four cutouts and a pattern of cool glass ridges all over the entire underside and outer sides of the entire thing. I have an orange one, a green one and a blue one, all are gorgeous. These were for sale years ago, and disappeared since. I can't even find a good clear photo of them on the Internet anymore. CI Hamburg had them in the upstairs lounge on the tables when they first opened in all three colors (orange, green, blue), though, if that rings a bell for you.
(3) My 1950s-era Murano-made cigar ashtray that's pretty trippy. Clear glass, inside that green glass, and with a regularly-spaced pattern of air bubbles (it's a trick in the glassworking art, there's a term for it, "controlled bubbles" or something like that). Bowl is surrounded by twisty/turny "arms", sort of, some of which form cigar rests. You'd have to see it, it's hard to describe in words.
(4) Various ceramic logo'd/painted ashtrays by different manfacturers. Over a dozen. The nicest one is probably the Romeo y Julieta three-finger white one, nice intricate design, both the art and the shape of the thing itself; the fingers are in an interesting and uncommon arrangement.
