but forget your political hating, the skit that started about 11:50 about contacts with ghosts is unbelievably funny, thanks to the much hated yet talented Kate McKinnon. She is wicked pissah funny.

also a nice moment on Weekend Update. Lt Commander Dan Crenshaw gets to face weird Pete Davidson.
GOP forgives weird guy...funny, yes. But should be normal.

A joke is a joke. Tasteless or not, there was no reason to get all stupid about it, and Crenshaw didn't.

Admit it, though, Frank... if the roles were reversed, the left would have called for the kid to be fired and never hold another job, EVAH!

I think liberals overall have a better sense of humor.

But conservatives are much more receptive to self deprecating humor.


Case in point:
A conservative will laugh at a joke about Trump, but a liberal rarely ever laughed at a joke about Obama.


Humor is supposed to be the great equalizer. But liberals get exceedingly uptight when they're the subject.

astute analysis, tail...a lot of cons liked Carlin and Pryor, who usually targeted cons when they ventured into the political arena...but politics was only a small part of their act and they laughed at life in general...

today, it seems there are more polarizing comics...not many cons like Bill Maher, John Stewart, Steven Colbert and before them, Al Franken, just as libs don't think much of Dennis Miller and Adam Corolla...


one adjunct: cons have much more to laugh at...
