Hey Y.O.G.I.,
was just surfing and came across the History Channel a few hours ago.
Been watching ever since.
Tonight they snagged Aerosmith's original van and a bunch of gas station/oil company/car related stuff.
before I knew it 2 hours passed.

The lead guy looks like an younger version of an actor, name escapes me, but he's on a gay show with Martin Sheehan and Jane Fonda.

never saw this before. Is he the guy you've mentioned?

The lead guy, Mike Wolfe is married ( not that matters anymore) & has 2 kids. Don,t think he has any acting experience besides this program.

Those guys pay way too much for stuff. Nothing sells for appraised value, at least not quickly.

I dont see how they make a profit......oh yeah, maybe TV show?

Sam Waterston?
Sheen appears to really have to work at his role....Waterston is WAY too comfortable for it to be just acting

^^^ yes...I have seen many episodes...
It is a good show...

Since I haven't had cable for 5? Years I stopped watching the show but sometimes reruns come on other channels and I watch,it then...it started getting real predictable then they started playing with the theme and working for famous stars trying to find what they wanted..,
Always enjoy ed learning from them too...
Its hard to be an expert on all antiques, that's why I watch antiques road show all the time...its on PBS and I get that for free on my "cheap broke azz free antenna"

My wife started watching the show a few years ago. I wasn’t much of a fan of it, I liked “Pawn Stars”, “American Restoration” and “Counting Cars” more. However, as PS started to script things more with (seemingly) fake scenarios, I lost interest and would watch an episode or two of AP with my wife. Eventually AR went off the air so watched more Pickers. Now, I’m the one that will watch AP instead of my wife.

Pawn Stars got real stupid really quick with that moron Chumlee. It’s fully staged and also stupid when somebody comes in with some obscure item and they just so happen to have an 3xpert living in town 5hat strolls in an appraises it. You’ve got a pair of homemade ice hockey skates crafted by an Amish man? You’re just in luck, in comes Abner Stoltfuz who used to make skates and is now living in Clark County. BTW for a show about a pawn shop, has anyone ever actually pawned anything???

American Restoration Rick did amazing work but was very corny and charged a fortune for his work.

Counting Cars is the only one of them I’ll watch, It has a lot of stuff staged too, but you can’t fake the end result and I just marvel at the work they. Horny Mike is another buffoon that needs to go, but they need these jackasses to liven up the shows.
