In another thread a while back, I mentioned my beloved Cusano 3 sleeve cigar case that up and walked away from me several years ago.
I find myself on occasion needing/wanting a cigar case to put in my jacket pocket for an outing.
Not wanting to spend $50 for something I really don't use often, I searched, bid on, and won these:
First up...
Wassergass 3-Finger Leather Holder - Black.............my winning bid was $6

https://www.cigarsintern...s+3-Finger+Leather+Case Leather? There may BE some leather bits in it, but it's not leather. I've let this thing air out for over 2 weeks, and it still smells horrible. It's glued together with some toxic chit, complete with faux stitching. It will never see a cigar of mine.
On the upside, it holds nine 12-gauge shotgun shells nicely.
Next Up...
Diesel Leather 2-Finger Cigar Case.............my winning bid was $7.30 (Free Fall)

https://www.cigarsintern...l+Leather+2-Finger+Case The Mothership description...
"This lovely 2-finger case is handcrafted in Nicaragua. Made with soft, full-grain leather and branded with the Diesel logo, this telescoping case can safely accommodate up to a 56-ring."This is a low grade case, but is actually stitched together reasonably well. But alas, not real leather either. It too MAY have some leather particles in it somewhere, probably more than in the Wassergass even. Still, it doesn't pass the water test, or the sniff test, even after a few months of airing out.
It will never see any of my cigars, and alas, only holds four 12-gauge shotgun shells.
If you're looking for a bargain cigar case, don't bother with either of these.
