1. It's "hanged" not "hung". Past tense of a person being hanged is...well, hanged. Try to remember it this way...being hung will make you very popular. Being hanged, not so much.
2. Why do people assume that a government that can't manage to do much beyond passing a bill designating the official National gelato flavor or whatever can actually coordinate anything covert any more?
3. This was poor jail management (or good, depending on your view). When it involves government, always assume negligence before leaping to intentional. 999 times out of 1000, you'll be correct.
4. I just don't get why this keep making news morning, noon and night. Yes, it's wrong for jails to leave openings for people to kill themselves, no matter what the person has done. Without order, jails are dangerous for everyone, especially the people who worked there. Without a modicum of dignity, we're just throwing people to the lions (and I realize that some favor that, but having spent a bunch of time in jails and prisons talking with clients, believe me, those places are NOT somewhere you want to be, no matter how well-run they are).
5. The guy is dead. He got special treatment and should have been in prison long ago. Goodbye and good riddance. Move on to the next news story.
6. If the Clintons or anyone else actually DID have the guy killed, that doesn't exactly speak highly of the current administration, does it? Mr. "The Buck Stops With Everybody" is still the captain of the ship, like it or not. What happens when it's on your watch is your responsibility. I took that to heart as a business owner; if an employee crossed the line, I dealt with it, but never tried to tell anyone in the criminal justice system it was all that person's fault. My business, my hiring decision, and no matter how small or big the business, my responsibility. Own it, Trump.
7. To his victims who wanted their day in court, my sincere sympathies. I've been in court plenty of times listening to someone describe someone perpetrating despicable acts on them. While I had a job to do, I didn't check my humanity at the door. I hope that each and every person who aided, participated as a criminal, accomplices, etc., all get their due. The victims of these horrifying acts are the ones for whom I feel sympathy. Epstein can rot in Hell.
