This is the most recent picture I've got of Sami, my (as of today) 10 month old Akita ... this pic was taken in early June, so she's about 20# or so larger today ... she has an absolutely voracious appetite, but has not tried to eat a cigar since burning her nose while sniffing one a few months back ... like others have said about their dogs, she knows the routine and heads for the back door the second she sees me opening the humidor ... she doesn't spend much time watching me smoke, though ... too busy scoping the back yard for squirrels, birds and other critters who're bold enough to trespass on "her" territory (a captital crime in her judgement).

Nice dog. Did you know if you get the tail straightened at a early age it doesnt cost near as much.

Cute doggie, one of mine sniffed a cigar early and keeps his nose away from them today! Charlie
