LMAO.
Plume doesn't form with patches of uneven density like that and it wouldn't form the same across both capa leaves because the sugar and oil contents aren't the same. Painted coffins are notorious for trapping too much moisture and causing mold issues, but you just keep on believing whatever you want.
Let's get this one out of the way first. You do understand that to unwrap it, then inspect it, it was in MY HANDS. My very first thought was mold. So I checked it thoroughly. Guess what that did to the distribution. You watch to many cop shows.
White cigar mold is STICKY. Like a cob web. To get that much powder off of it, if it was mold, that cigar would have to have been totally corrupted from the inside out and I would have classified it as a friggin feathery mushroom at that point.
I'm gonna say this one last time. I'm going to be very clear.
I know the difference between mold and plume. I JUST posted something a week or so ago because I was sent a few moldy newb sticks. The difference between the two is unmistakable. Here's what all you backseat drivers just did by looking at one crappy pic and making assumptions.
C3 is now going through his entire collection and apologizing to me because he didn't check inside the coffins before he sent a roak out of nowhere, because of a random comment I made, and now feels bad. Bravo.
He sent me multiple coffins. 2005, 2008, and I think a 2006 or 2015. The 2005 and 2008, plume. The 2006 and 2015? Nothing, just a normal cigar.
All stored together in a box I use for putting smokes to bed for years in. Every other box of smokes stored with these coffins. NOTHING. On the rack above these boxes. Loose smokes, most with no cello on them. NOTHING. The box itself. Rock steady at 63%/65F. These coffins have been in there long enough to ruin the entire box.
Don't give me any crap about, "Well the low humidity must have stopped the spread." It doesn't work like that. It wouldn't stop spreading instantly. Raise your hand if you've read ANY botany books this year. I've read two at least.
Who the hell can I bomb now. "Hey everyone, wanna risk your collections by getting a box in the mail from me now that the "Experts" have sounded the mold alarm. Especially considering I just made a post saying I got some noob sticks recently that came up moldy. I didn't need a friggin microscope to spot it either. It was in a box I keep just for noob sticks, that's already been sanded twice, wiped down with Isopropyl alcohol a few times with friggin Q-tips so I could make sure I got every nook and cranny., and is now sitting at 80% humidity to see if I got it all. I know what I'm doing. Period.
The Fuente's will be here next week. The advert mentioned them bringing some rare Opus X along for the ride. They were the last piece of a hit I've been planning for months. That part of the plan is shot. I can't risk sending anything to anyone now for fear of a pure coincidence screwing me over for good.
Thanks, great job.
Just so it's crystal clear, here's the reason this really pissed me off.
A man I've never met or had a serious conversation with went out of his way and into his pocket to do me a kindness and is now telling me sorry? That is so wrong on so many levels.
1 PM, "Hey, that looks like mold to me not plume." Me "Nah, trust me it's not. I handled the smoke, my phone takes crap pics and when I resize the photo for this site it drops the quality even more. Thanks for the concern though I really appreciate it. " Done.
How's that for LMAO?
