When Obama left office the Dow was around 20,000. It’s now at 27,500.
Unemployment is at historical lows. During the 8 years Obama was President unemployment fell 2 points. Trump has been in office just under 3 years, during which time the unemployment rate dropped 1 point. To repeat 8 years down 2 points or 3 years down 1 point. Under Trump unemployment has fell faster. I will concede it was falling when Trump took office, but his economic policy sped up the fall rate.
He’s not alone in having called for a wall. During Bill Clinton’s presidency we built 325 miles of wall at the southern border. Senators Obama, Clinton and Schumer all
voted for the Secure Fence Act of 2006 which specified among other measures an additional 700 miles of border fencing.
Let’s talk about Trump referring to his impeachment situation and him calling it a Lynching. These Democratic members of Congress all used the same verbiage regarding Bill Clinton’s impeachment. In no particular order they were: Chuck Schumer, Charlie Rangle, Joe Biden, Jerrold Nadler, John Kerry, Jim McDermott, Harry Reid, Gregory Meeks, Danny Davis. Oh, and even CNN called it a lynching. So for all the Trump hating Democrats here, look in the mirror so you can see a person whose chosen brethren did the same thing, yet you still hang on to this like a rabid dog with a bone.
Trump has brought troops home, not increased the number overseas.
Of course they many fine examples of kettle meeting pot with regards to Trump. But, the point is made.
The Democrats don’t have a stable economic platform so they are left to name call. No a single Democratic hopeful has addressed anything that would benefit the economy. But, for some reason I’m supposed to like them?
Do I love Trump? Not no, but hell no. Do I love the direction he is pointing too, every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
