You ain't got a giner, so you're safe.

Of course, FGM says you got a purty mouth.
But then again, he says that about everybody...

Was really hoping that UA would be undefeated when they play Auburn in a few weeks. UA loss to Auburn when UA is in the championship mix has a much longer affect on the UA psyche than a loss to any other team.

Have to admit that this addition of the LSU/UA match up was a great game to watch whether you are a fan, hater or casual observer. If you did not enjoy this game, then you are not a fan.

Hopefully Auburn will end UA's championship chances in a few weeks. But, if UA wins out then they probably make the playoffs and a possibility of a re-match with LSU. Last time I checked LSU/UA re-matches did not workout well for LSU (2011).

Having a flare for the obvious, this game would have been even higher scoring if Tua had been healthy. Healthy Tua probably means a LSU loss.

Either way, one hell of an entertaining game

Don’t want to “what if” this game. But, Bama took advantage of a hurt Grant Delpit. Had he been healthy I suspect Tua’s stats wouldn’t have been nearly as impressive even if he was 100%.

Anthony, really? If I were to "what if" anything it would be along the line of if Auburn had an experienced QB they beat LSU in Baton Rouge this year.

I was not taking anything away from your team which was clearly the better overall team yesterday and deserved the victory. But to your point about Delpit, did he have surgery on his ankle three weeks ago? How many points does he average scoring per game for LSU? How many rushing yards does he average per game? I'm not going take the time to compare his stats to Tua's but I have a pretty good idea who is the more valuable offensive player when healthy.

Just sit back and enjoy the victory and season to date. LSU is having a great season and will be the SEC rep (and they should be) in the football playoffs. If that is the case, I will be pulling for them as if they were the Auburn Tigers. But, you and the rest of the LSU nation should be hoping that Auburn takes care of UA and finishes their playoff hopes. LSU does not want to face a healthy Tua in a rematch.

Tua is a great quarterback. Just tired of the lack of respect for an obviously superior team. No other team beat 4 top 10 ranked teams this year. That speaks for itself.

LSU earned the win - they simply out-played the Tide. At the end of the day, the injuries do not matter - its who hangs the W in the column.

The difference in the game was Bama's inability to stop the LSU offense. At times the Tigers were running/scoring at will. For years the strength of the defense has been the hallmark of the SEC. Bama dropped the ball this year. They are young and inexperienced on defense. If you cant stop the other team, you cant win.

Tip of the hat to Anthony. Dan - see your tigers in a few weeks

I’m kinda in the middle on the Iron Bowl. One one hand, I want Bama to win so there would there would be a rematch. Having watched every snap of the game, I honestly believe we would win again. That would make clear who the best team in the SEC is this year. On the other hand, if Bama loses to Auburn the result is still the same.

Boo hoo!

So I’m picking Auburn. Good luck to both teams. It should be an epic game regardless who wins.

To both Dan and Eric don’t know if either of you go to the games. But, maybe we could meet up next year and tailgate together. We don’t need tickets. Just chairs to sit in and a TV to watch the game. I’m thinking Smokemonkey might be interested as well.

Don't know, an event like that may conflict with me sitting on my big butt some where watching a football game on TV.

Seriously, I would be up for it if we can come up with a time and place.

I'm up for it - Mrs and I try to go to a few games each year. Attended 4 games this year..Had invites for 3 tailgates for the LSU game, but with President Trump in town as well as ESPN Gameday, we chose to host a party at home. The next time the game is in Tuscaloosa, we can certainly work something out - either tailgate, get tickets, or at our home. We will make it work.

I have been to Baton Rouge once before for work - but that was many years ago. Can't be more than a half-day drive from me at worst.

If you’re still in the same place you were the last time we fired salvos at each other it’s about 400 miles.
