Gonna hit Disneyland this summer. Looking for a place to sit and enjoy a drink and cigar. The Smoke Inn around West Palm Beach and Tampa Sweethearts were nice for our Florida trips, but I'm looking for a Cali connection this time.

there's a good cigar lounge in the City of Orange, about 5 miles from Disneyland...Maxamars Ultimate Cigars, 3744 E Chapman...huge walkin humidor with a wide selection...you can BYOB...smoking area is a little small, dark and basic, but most peeps are sociable there...

if you've never bought a cigar at a retail establishment in CA...get ready for sticker shock...they give you a little break, by not adding the nearly 9% tax (they used to, not sure if they still do)

We have 7.5% here, and EVERYTHING gets taxed. Thanks for the heads up though. My lounge has a pay to stay policy, $10 or more and you can use the lounge. I need to just pay for a membership, then I can just bring or store my whiskey and cigars there and come and go anytime.

Somebody narced and brought excise police into mine. Now you can't bring booze in anymore. However, if you have a lidded container, they are not allowed to check it or ask you what's in it

Opel and I have been to one in Glendora, named Marty's...very nice set-up there...large screen TV on one wall, with comfortable chairs in middle of the store... shelves of cigars along three walls...entire main room is a ventilated humidor...about 35 miles from Disneyland...pretty sure regulars consume alcoholic bevs there...

There was a quarter machine next to the glory hole, but recent upgrades included a card reader which ruled out tips through the hole. And since I'm a cash only guy, I wouldn't know what 20 minutes runs ya. I can tell ya that after about $2.25 in the quarter machine I was good.

8eightyeight.

Head north on South Harbor which is the road on the East side of Disneyland.

Go into the shop, buy the cigar and they let you in through a passage like door into the lounge.
Typical bar on one side, pool and darts on the other.

I think RMAN was saying it's not long but it's thick.

And Frank, is "one of these days I hafta end this..." code for a future circumcision?

a couple is out on their first date and happen to walk by an apartment building where a newborn is being circumcised in a second floor bedroom.
Just as they are passing by, the mohel completes the task, tosses the foreskin aside, but it flies out an open window and lands on the young lady's shoulder.

Startled, she screams "what is that?"

Her date calmly picks it off of her shoulder, holds it in front of her mouth and says "try it. if you like it, I'll give you a whole one".

That works for me, I'm taking the last two weeks in July off, gonna probably spend 5-7 days there. Looking to take the girls to the beach too. I'll PM you when everything's locked in and we can make plans from there.

I think he's there now...

it's nice that you really enjoy it here, despite "look at me" types like yours truly.
