Targets would probably be good to bring. Two years ago we were just shooting water and trees and the ground most of the time. haha Don't bring anything too heavy though because it is a trek down to where we normally shoot. Long walk or a few minute ATV ride.

Is there an ATV available? Or can my truck get there?

Bring your ATV if you have one and can. I bet others will be bringing theirs so there will be at least one or two there.

I don't have one unfortunately. So yeah, if somebody brings one that would be great. I'll throw my steel in the back of the truck.

I don't believe a truck can make it down to the shooting area, but FGM would have to confirm that.

Some Sip Herf Noob info:

-Don't under-pack when it comes to how many cigars you bring. You never know what you will be in the mood for.
-Usually everyone brings a box of cigars for the table (to share).
-Usually everyone brings a bottle of liquor for the table (to share)
-Bring $20-$50 or more if you wish to donate to help pay for everything.
-Bring steel underwear with a strong lock because you never know what sort of shenanigans FGM will try to pull.
-BYOB and drinks apart from the liquor for the table.
-Bring a bag chair.
-Check the weather before packing.
-If you are sleeping upstairs, bring ear protection because there is some serious snoring that shakes the house.

Is that suitable for the rifles people will be bringing (as opposed to just Todd's handgun)?

So FGM calls and informs me the Herf is back on. Excellent news!!

I have no idea what my schedule will look like, but I promise to hang out.

Fenster....get your ammunition in yazoo city. There is a Walmart about 8 miles from the cabin.

Now to be the jerk that says things you already know...
Y’all keep in mind Ray is not 100%. Help out where ya can with whatever. Blu always spends a small fortune on groceries, so make sure he is taken care of. Think as if you are eating in a white table cloth restaurant each night....budget that

Drive safe and I look forward to seeing everyone. I’m sure I’ll have some spirits to share

If you want to shop for liquor I highly recommend Delta Wine and Spirits in yazoo city. I will say today, he has some impossible to find bourbons sitting on his shelf. Happy shopping.

Just over 3 weeks away. Can't wait.

I will try to help out with whatever that I can, but since my weight gain, I am pretty worthless when it comes to walking long distances, carrying anything heavy or anything like that. My back hates me too much to do anything hard. My back hurts and I get winded just taking the trash cans down to the mailbox and it is only like 100 ft. Makes me feel so worthless. Really need to lay off the bottle and stop snacking at night. Since the last herf, I have gained like 75 lbs. Okay, done with my self pity party.
