Pollution is related to climate change and that has an impact on the food production to sustain the population....as well as the availability of fresh water
not sure if the earth can sustain the growth of the human population at its current rates
this pandemic illustrates several points to me: when confronted with disaster, the majority of humans join collectively, outnumbering those who dissent from the group, and move in a positive direction that is deemed by those in whom we've given our trust, our brightest peeps who study the problem, and do what's best for humankind...
some private enterprises, led by positive and compassionate people, step up to try to do their part without force...
just watching the doctors and nurses and public safety people and others in essential services like food supply, mail and package delivery, staring into the face of oblivion yet wading in to do their jobs is uplifting and remarkable...
it makes the fear of our society dissolving into a chaotic state of nature seem far-fetched...
of course those are broad stroke generalizations and there may be many small scale deviations, so one must be aware of dangers within close proximity and be prepared...
