Anyone smoke the Gurkha's yet? They look like a nice cigar, but was wondering if they are worth the price that they have been bringing.

I can take them or leave them. Too mild for me though ... and the price is too high.

I won't buy anymore ...

Thanks for the information. I don't mind paying the price as long as I am paying for tobacco and not hype. Thanks again for the good input.

Read this month's "Gonz's Pick" on www.cigarsinternational.com. This was his pick.

in CI's latest catalog there was a super sampler special, maybe they put it up for auction on the samplers. Included is the Ghurka as well as some other great cigars that you can also try and the list is only $20 for 8 cigars. That may be a good way for you to try that cigar and others without investing a lot in a box.

Marla, I tried each line of the Gurkha's and they are very good. Both the Master's Sect and Expedition Series are medium to full bodied. However, they were so smooth and mellow, I didn't notice the strength much. Plus, they were suprisingly tasty for a straight Dominican filler.

A woman that smokes OpusX will definitely be able to handle any Gurkha :)

I myself have a Gurkha Cognac Tubo waiting for a very special day - it is very hard to resist.
