You have an hour to enjoy a cigar... What are you smoking? Looking for new smoke ideas. Applause

Lately, my go to has been a Fuente Short Story.

I’m generally a slow smoker and hate time constraints while I’m enjoying a cigar so iffin’ I had only an hour, I’d pick something like a Tat PCR. Small enough to fully enjoy within the timeframe with enough strength, body and flavor to satisfy any nicotine or tobacco cravings. Many will suck PCRs down within 30-40 minutes but they’re easy to stretch out.

.
Drew Estate MUWAT Nightcrawler (4.5x50 Rothschild) - Great medium-bodied smoke, nice complexity due to the rather diverse blend. Benefits very greatly from age, recommend letting them sit for 2-3 years minimum. Regular current production, easy to find.

Room 101 Chief Cool Arrow Filerokee (4.5x52 Figurado) - Fantastically complex and tasty due to a five-nation blend, great construction thanks to top Davidoff rollers making them, truly a world-class cigar. Must be smoked very slowly and never in rainy or humid environmental conditions, preferably on a dry day. One-time 2016 limited production run, generally impossible to get now unless you already have a personal stash of them on-hand.

If I only have an hour, I hit a Diesel Unlimited Maduro, d.4, (4.7"x52).

It lets itself smoke in that time and I like the taste.

It’s great that you found a cigar that does the smoking for you.

one of these days I going to proof read what I write. I meant It lets itself be smoked. But I'm sure you knew that.

Nobody said I was a smart man.

Come to think about it... nobody said I was a man. I just assumed I was.

So Other Other Frank, got enough suggestions or you still looking for more?

Maybe good to try some of them and then come back and post up what you enjoyed / didn’t like. Then we’d have an idea on what else might fit.

Yes, lots of good ideas, have a list made! The experiment has started

I don't go into smoking a cigar with a 60 min time limit, it just usually turns out that way.

Tat PCRfor the win! Love that thing and yes I can easily have it be a 60 min cigar. If'n someone knows where to find these I'd be all ears. . . I haven't been able to find one for a minute. (though I admit I really haven't looked that hard)

No one mentioned Papas fritas? I mean WTH has this forum come to?

Please don't think this post is serious. . . I will also second z's post about the LFD Digger. There's another Litto cigar that was a shorter smoke that Z introduced me to, but now I can't remember what it was. . . Hmmm gonna have to do some research.

Papas Fritas, just had one yesterday. I could make it last an hour.

I mean, sure, but why would you want to?

So many other cigars that aren't sweepings for similar or less cost. I admit, I have smoked them and even found it to have decent flavor but its still a short filler cigar with a drew estate price tag.

Circling back with my first report...

Caldwell The T Short Churchill - This came in a close second, looking forward to smoking more of these!
MUWAT - Smoked 1 of the 5, it was my favorite of the three so far. Going to hopefully age the others for a while.
Gurkha Xtreme Grand Robusto - was good, a little stronger than I wanted at the time, but have 4 more I will keep in the humidor for a better occasion.

maybe the LFD Reserva Especial El Jocko? excellent smaller smoke, perfecto shape, in either natural or maduro, but more like a 45 minute cigar

or the La Flor Dominicana Litto Gomez Diez Oriental, also excellent petite corona...

I'd have to say the Alec Bradley Black Market Robusto, or the Partagas Black Label Bravo.

Haven't had one of these in a long time, used to have the maduros in my constant rotation.

I'll add the LFD double ligero chiselito maduro although it's not a full hour smoke for me.

Thank you master of the cbid search (dys)function.

Just ordered a pack of each of the 4 Latelier 4.5x38 cigars - Cracker Crumbs, El Suelo Vuelos, L’Atelier Travailleurs and Trocadéro Ruelles

Also some PCRs

For years I said I'd smoke down to my desktop and be done. I smoked down to like 20 cigars in my desktop and now I've spent too much to start refilling the desktop and the pelican case. d'oh!

CC prices are nuts. They're out of reach now.
