Verdugo's a gifted player in his own right and is going to be a regular All-Star...at one time, he was the pride of the Dodgers' farm system, rated as the best MLB prospect for two years before his major league debut...popular player in L.A....
that said, Betts is a once in a lifetime talent who has already made an impact in L.A.'s disadvantaged communities and become the face of the team, without animosity from Bellinger, a reigning MVP ...
guess we'll have to look back in 15 years, if we can make it there, to see who "won" the trade...
personally, I'm glad the Red Sox declined to continue spending to field championship level teams, as Betts may be the key that brings the championship to the Dodgers...
