Is it better to have one large humidor (mini-fridge sized) for long-term storage, or several smaller humidors.

Tom, I started out with a small humi, then graduated to a large one...I now have a coolerdor for long term storage/aging and my main humidor for everyday sticks...I hardly touch the sticks in the coolerdor (I just stare at them and admire them while they sleep..LOL)...I'd say get both!

i would start with one that holds 50 or less, then plan on buying a few more as you build up your hoard. that way you can seperate different brands.

eventually a cooler chest, called, by the fancy guys a coolador. you can buy a cooler chest now for about $20. at target or kmart, because the summer is over and they will be discounting them

make your own humidifiers instead of wasting money on the little credo types that are too small to do anything.

if you don't know how to make a humidifier, write me and i'll send you an excellent article that will walk you through.

I made a huge mistake and bought a huge humidor off the bat when i was first starting off my gar smokeing. Opening a huge humidor everyday to look at the few sleeping beautys i had in there made me said. The story goes after looking in side everyday i wanted more and more stogies even the cheap ones just to fill it. I look back and wish i would have taken the time to take my time to find the smokes i liked then buy smokes i liked, instead of buying all kinds of crap. The moral of the story kids is start small and work your way up, dont take on more than you can handle.
