This belief has been repeated over and over, to justify the GOP's legislative proposals to restrict voting. All the "evidence" of this rampant voter fraud has been shown to be BS. Even the lawyer representing Sidney Powell, Trump's lawyer who made the most detailed claims of voter fraud after the election, said "no reasonable person would be expected to believe it (her wild claims)" in a defamation suit by Dominion against her.
If there was rampant voter fraud, as alleged in about 60 federal and state lawsuits filed by Trump, there would be rampant evidence...and yet, there hasn't been any...
in answer to your first two questions, I think the vast majority of Americans believe that...
but here are some articles that say a powerful few Americans who do not...

Did you actually read the articles? It’s mostly left wing spin.
As far as the facts:
What is wrong with limiting early voting to 17 days? That 2 1/2 weeks. If someone can’t manage to cast a ballot in that time frame, then perhaps it’s time we move to a 24/7/365 framework? How many people are really unable to make it to the polls every other year held on the same day of November each time? This thesis is absolutely BS!
What is wrong with requiring ID to cast a vote? One is required for medical services, to drive, to purchase cigarettes or alcohol, to pick up baseball tickets from will call etc.... This another BS thesis.
Does someone really need more than 78 days to request an absentee ballot? BS!
What is wrong with requiring absentee ballots to be deposited at a registrars office? That would prevent a possibility of a midnight sojourn to deposit a few hundred harvested ballots where there is no validity integrity. Before anyone says we don’t have proof of fraud so it’s not required. Law journals are full of preventive measures, so what’s wrong with one more? BS!
Yadda, yadda yadda much adieu about noting.
