Week two began by looking as if it would be a replay of week one ... many of us were beginning to wonder what the brand name on Huskey's crystal ball was and whether CB would have any available in the "merchandise" category any time soon ... i.am.steve and Coach both made a nice recovery during the late games on Sunday ... then yesterday, Steve tied Huskey on the MNF game and won on a tie-breaker ...

Nice job, Steve ... 14 cigars will be coming your way ...

Anyone else wanna join us, let me know ... maybe a Chiefs or a Bronco fan? I'll get the matchups to you and you'll be set to go as long as you get your picks back to me by Friday noon ...

Haha...who would waste their time being a chiefs or broncos fan? j/k...as for Huskey...Could you start sending me a copy of his picks for the week before I send you imne? 8-)

Thanks Steve. The games look a little tougher this week though. Some good games will be played this up coming Sunday.

They have all been tough. When the point spread is 2 or three it's a crap shoot! Lots of games like that. Feels nice to win early on huh? No pressure. Nice pickin' Steve!

I SWEAR!! Everytime I send my picks to the pool the email gremlins change them up. According to my back up file (which is up dated every Tuesday morning)I am 32-0-0. OH well life is still good.

I know what you mean, cigarsmoke ... I just KNOW I picked Cleveland in that game yesterday and how the hell Chicago popped up on the sheet when I clearly said New Orleans ... with those gremilins at work, it's no damn wonder I'm not in the lead along with (just how DO they do it??) Huskey and i.am.steve ...

Turns out the Chiefs and Bronco fans (yes, we know who you are, jjohnson and cwilhelmi) don't seem to think they can pick winners successfully ... maybe a couple of the Cowboy fans who still somehow think the 'boys are "'merica's team" think they can get the job done ...

to my knowledge, we've got no Raider fans in the group either ... I know Rayder, Jon and a couple of others are able somehow able to hold their noses and cheer for the Raiders ... but are they in the pool? ... no way ... c'mon guys ... you could always predict that the 9ers, Chiefs, Broncos, Seahawks, Steelers and Patriots will lose every game ... any of your arch-rivals I've overlooked?

See, what I'm hoping is to get some more players on board and crowd out those gremlins that are such a pain in the a&& to the two of us each week ... thing is, we don't want or need any more SMART guys who can beat us, so that's why I'm actively recruiting the Cowboy and Raider fans
