Won a bid on 4x5-packs of Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestros on 7/24/2021. Shipping pref is "Daily." Figured they'd likely ship on Mon., 7/26.
Checked status and they were indicated to be "back ordered" and in "processing."
The "back ordered" status was NOT indicated at any time during the bidding, so ... I'm feeling slightly misled.
I've inquired twice via the customer service website form as to what the delay is and when might I expect these cigars to ship. It's been a week today since I won the bid. Since then, CB continues to auction off boxes, 5-packs, and singles of this cigar regularly.

Is EVERYone who wins an ARQ bid "on hold" for shipping? I doubt it. So, if CB can ship cigars that were won on later dates, why is a bid won on 7/26 still in "processing?" Makes no sense.

I've not had any reply or info from Customer Service.

Anybody have any idea what's going on and how to "fix" it?

Thanks, mate. I'll give it a try Monday. The times I've gotten to Katie S. at CB customer service, she's always sorted things out.

This is nothing new. CBID has had auctions for cigars they dom't have for a long time. They may have a consistent on hand inventory system or just don't pay much attention to it. I recall a couple of times when the cigar was longer available - in particular some Kinky Friedmans I had on back order and one damn good Gurkha. In their defense tho, they have always offered substitutes when a backorder is never coming - but you do have to call.

Thanks Tony & Jake.
I called CB/"Shauna" this morning.
'Surprisingly got through quite quickly ... around 5-7 minutes!
The order shipped this morning.
There had been some problems with inventory, and the initial effort to ship got some "damaged product," so they had to redo it.
Redone and shipped out this morning. Yowza!I

Cigar Bid Customer Service gets rather badly rated a lot, but I have to tell you all: Evey time I have had to contact Customer Service both via message on the website form and via phone, I've had EXCELLENT service with issues quickly resolved. There have been a couple times when I was on "HOLD" for 20 minutes and gave up, too, but so it goes, mate. In general, I give Cigar Bid Customer Service an EXCELLENT rating.

I hope you all have similar experiences.
