At $189.00 they better be...

Anybody own a pair?

Or is it just internet hyPE?

To hey make jeans too...for millionaire labor union workers...
Work shirts, women's spandex...
Prices $39.99 then they jump to $189...
$199...$249...
No rhyme or reason on PRICING?
WTF?

Jonsey, Ariat is decent gear, but no where near the price based on quality, IMHO.

I proudly wear Ariat.

The boots i use for work and around the farm last like this...I get a solid year out of them and retire them to the farm. Once on the farm I replace insoles. and wear them till they fall apart...usually 2 years later.

I get mine at Tractor Supply/ Rural King and they're not 189.00. The ones I get are above the ankle full leather. The good thing about Ariat is that they repel water really good. Around the farm I abuse the living crap out of them.

All that said...the best boots I ever owned...still do...are Red Wing boots. I just don't have a work allowance that pays for them anymore like I used to when I lived in Michigan.

Wolverine Durashocks... I've had a pair of their boots for years. $155 if you get the "soft toe". Mine are still in great shape and still comfy.

I have a pair of lifetime guarantee d Dunham's from High School...hunted small game in those for 25 years..they fit like a glove...never leaked...I soaked the crap outta them with liquid silicone every 2-3 yrs...used new Dr Scholl's insolls and replaced about 10 of them ...so 1972 to 2016...

That's a record.. 28+16 is 44 yrs...

Re-Soled once...
But they literally fell apart a out 5 years ago...

Never sent them back to get my lifetime guarantee...to lazy and I hate postage costs and writing letters...

I like Kleen Targhees. Most comfortable work boots I've ever worn. Usually about $150ish

OP

Ive watched a few reviews on them but have never bought a pair.

I really like the Danners that I bought last November. Danner Mountain Light Explorer. Buy once, cry once.

We can get flame resistant Ariat jeans at work, they look good, feel good, but don't match the price. I go for the cheaper Carhartts for $50

I have a pair of Danner Tachyon that I wore for work. Super light, super comfy, and at the lower end of the Danner cost spectrum. I don't think the soles were replaceable though.

I hate my Ariat boots. Since then I have started wearing and selling the Steel blue work boots after having so many problems with Redback boots. You can fine them at https://www.fatmonkeytools.com/tools/index.php?l=product_list&m=437&show=25
Use the coupon GETBOOTED21 for an additional 20$ off each pair of boots.

Buy the USA made red wings. I’m a farmer. They’re very good. They’re expensive but they hold up I also buy the cheap Irish setters and the non USA red wings. I like them but they don’t last.

I’ve got a pair of Danners Also gotta get the USA made ones

Ariats aren’t rebuildable if that matters. My red wings need a third set of soles. Debating on spending 60 bucks for soles or just drop 2 and change on another new set.

Thorogood makes good work boots too. I’m a bit of a boot hoe but haven’t tried them yet.

Oh. Oil your boots once in a while fellas. They’ll last a heck of a lot longer.

I regularly oil my boots. I use Dr. Jackson's "Hide Rejuvenator". It's made by the Tandy Leather Company. Idk if it's the best, but it works.

My dad made me take care of everything I had when I was young. I remember using it on my Little League Baseball glove. Lol
