Players can still practice and play whether they’re vaccinated or not. Their testing and masking protocols are different though.
Not gonna get into any discussion about what Rodgers said but ultimately he knew, the team knew and the League knew that he was considered unvaccinated. Like all unvaccinated players, he followed protocol and tested daily and wore a mask inside the facility except when he did his weekly press interviews. Haven’t seen anything towards that issue but ultimately he was fined for that as well as going to the Halloween party. He’s since done Zoom press conferences.
On the other hand, if the allegations are true, AB deliberately falsified his status to the League to avoid the testing and mask wearing. And, since it’s a Federal offense to falsify government documents he could be penalized by both the NFL and the Feds. This has been so well publicized, I highly doubt if the NFL will look the other way. If anything, AB will be a poster child for the ramifications of obtaining a fake document. FWIW, I haven’t seen or heard anything since the initial reports but am interested to see what becomes of it.
