Just started to try wearing them.

My learning curve on installation and removal is going to be long and expensive due the lenses being monthly and my hand tremor, but I am totally committed to see if this will work. It is just so damn expensive when I lose or damage a monthly lens.

So, I am wondering whether anyone here with stigmatism has been able to find a daily, weekly, bi-weekly lens (as opposed to a monthly)?

I’ve worn contacts for maybe 35 years. Started with monthly way back, now wearing daily. I wear my glasses way more than my contacts though because I’m on computers all day. It’s easier to correct things like stigmatism with glasses rather than contacts.

I was never able to wear them. As soon as I put them in my eyes would dry out and it would be like blinking over sandpaper. Tried different kinds... nothing worked.

Lasik can correct for astygmatism now.

I got PRK back in 1998 and my distance vision is still good. Can't see sh-t up close without readers, though.

Never tried them, I just could not get used to the idea, let alone the actuality of putting something on my eyes. Had an early diamond knife RK. For years I did not need glasses to drive, I do now and they are progressive so reading is covered. I always have my shooting glasses so that's another advantage.

Without contact lenses you stand the risk of finding out that young strange gash is a dude!

I feel like there were dailies with some astigmatism correction. Don't quote me on it though. The worst of mine was corrected with bifocal usage back in the 5th-6th grade range, so I can get by with regular lenses

Been wearing them 5-6 years. Tried the ones that correct astigmatism. Don’t work very well.

No. My neck is fused and I can not bend it subtly enough to focus for reading clearly through bifocals. I also have problems between the interplay of my eye glass frames and hearing aids behind my ear. Every time I adjust my glasses, which often occurs subconsciously, I can lose a hearing aid, which is very expensive... unless you get them out of a dumpster. LOL!

Have you tried the Opti-Grab?

Then again, it apparently had some unanticipated side effects.

On the plus side you'd get $1.09 from the class action suit.
