New Member here, I have had an order processing for a month (my first order with CB) and have had a couple orders process and ship since then. I’ve tried calling and emailing for weeks and have had nothing. Just posting here for help because I’m lost and have no idea where else to reach out to 🤷‍♂️

Check some other posts on your topic, similar issues happening. I've been waiting on an order that's processing since Aug 16. Calling and waiting for hours is about your only hope to get the order fixed, the messaging is a lost cause at this time.

I had a problem with an order from late June. Was charged for it but never shipped. Sent 5 messages through the site and no reply. Called 3 times, on hold for an hour each time, nobody picked up. I also sent a letter via snail mail. Nothing. When it got close to 1 month and zero communication, I old them by email and snail mail that once 30 days pass I'm filing a chargeback. No reply, so I requested a chargeback from my card provider. They responded to that quickly and did get the order. LMAO! I have recently placed a new order and its been "processing" for a week. Enough of this. If I ran my business like this, I'd have no business quickly. I must have spent $10k (likely much more) with this company over the many years. Its sickening to be treated this way. I'd rather pay more and actually get my orders and if there's an issue, there's customer support that actually answers the phone and/or email.

Yeah. I don’t get it. A little transparency goes a long way.

Right? I mean, a LITTLE transparency is still pretty opaque.

Correct.

And for the record, Fruit Roll Ups are not opaque enough to constitute "underwear."

I should post this on Knowledge Recently Acquired...

OK, just learned they aren't suitable for outerwear either.
Certainly not when it's hot and humid outside.

Hello everyone,

As some of you have noticed, our phone queue and customer service are a bit backed up currently. I can assure you all that we're still here and working tirelessly on getting caught up and back to the service levels you've been accustomed to over the last 25 years.

We recently added a large expansion to our warehouse to allow for better product availability and improve our operational capabilities. There have been some short-term challenges that we're working through which have led to an increase in customer service calls. We appreciate your patience and promise to correct the issues and return to normal as quickly as possible.

Thank you all for your continued support and understanding.

You call that transparency?

Transparency would be answering a call after being in queue for less than an hour and giving a quick explanation why 3 orders have shipped and processed, but one from a month ago just sits and sits and spins while they hold my money.

I had the same problem this month and last month. They are going through
some kind of transition.
You just have to call and wait an hour or more, I had to wait almost 3 hours last month
then you can straighten it out.
Shana was a awesom, she fixed me up, had to split my order and she said it will go out
at the beginning of the week. They are really busy I gues getting the place ready.
You just need to wait till they get to you on the phone and you'll be fine. Peace. Herfing

I do. Relaying struggles you are having and that you're working to resolve them is in fact transparency.

What you describe is solid customer service as the majority of consumers expect. Unfortunately, somewhat lacking currently.

But most importantly, while I realize you're in an upsetting scenario, I didn't have chit to do with your missing cigars.

Keep licking butts though...

Somehow licking my mom’s butt sounds like a better alternative than being a sad sack of **** trying to insult strangers on a Cigar Forum.

Thanks for all those who had a somewhat helpful response.Guess I’ll wait a few more weeks before I charge back.

I want to apologize for the behavior of some of the people on this thread. It’s no excuse but some of them are very distraught over the death of Queen Elizabeth 2.

I used to make fun of these posts too, as for 14 years, my orders would arrive on time like clockwork. Now I'm going through this same chit. I currently have winnings that have been "Processing" for 3 weeks, and have been on hold for hours without getting through. Back when I was smoking 3 cigars a day, and had an inventory of over 3,000, this would have been no big deal. But now that I'm down to 3 to 5 a week, and only keep one small humidor, poor customer service, and orders delayed for weeks, is more of a deal. Just say'n.

Hey bro. I hope you and yours are doing well too. I have 50 cigars "processing" which is like a 4 month supply for me these days. If I get them I won't be bidding again till Dec/Jan. Yes, I just checked inventory and have 3 of those triple maddies left. So much easier to do (checking inventory) since I now have one humidor instead of three and three coolers.

This number got me a Holly Tree Hotel.

Is there any other option for customer service? I’ve called and sat on hold for over an hour on three occasions and still can’t reach anyone.

Nope. Keep trying. No one likes a quitter.

When you do finally get through, Shana will take care of you.

Think of it this way, your cigars will be "extra aged"...

My order has been in processing mode for a week now (09/06/22). At least now I know I'm not the only one. Glad I check out the forum...

UPDATE: 09/14/2022 I received an e-mail today stating that my order has been shipped. I guess a processing status of 8 days is reasonable. My order had allot of good deals, so I'm happy now... :)

You might want to check your credit card statement also. I was charged twice, for my recent order that is allegedly “processing”.

It took a few weeks but Cbid did make things right on their own accord, as I never got through to customer service. Thank you to the one(s) responsible. Even received a little "compensation" for the delay.
