Y.O.G.I....despite some, even minimal easing of gas prices and supply chain issues, shipping costs improving etc. etc...corporations aren't adjusting prices downward despite their costs going down this year.
"Sticky Pricing" or price stickiness=bigger profits. One source claims large corporations are realizing the highest profit margins since 1950.
Combined with endless mergers and takeovers there's not enough competition, which kills choice and therefore input on pricing by the demands of the public...a key component of healthy Capitalism.
