All of my family were Army guys but two h.s. classmates went to the Naval Academy so didn’t really cheer for either side. When Kenny N. became the Navy HC, allegiance went there.

Regardless of the outcome, I enjoy watching the game and the traditions and emotions around it.

If any of you separatist fanatics want to watch a replay, it's on the CBS Sports Network tonight at 8 PM EST.

Looks like the loss cost Kenny N. his job. That is a shame. He inspired his team to win against stacked odds. Hope he rebounds and is picked up by another team.

Whaaat!?!?

But maybe the writing was on the wall. Three straight losing seasons as well as losing 5 out of the last seven games against Army outweighed his overall success.

Hope he lands somewhere, fo’ sure I’ll be rooting for him.

The Academy coaches are up against top tier FBS teams every year... with athletes that are clearly not on the same level. But if they went to tier 2 they'd likely do much better.
