MAP pricing has been here for years.
The Other Place has them…….certain ones………up for bid………a deal every now and again.

Once MAP became prevalent at all of the auction sites, for all intents and purposes I stopped buying Padrons. My last score was in January 2015 from the well-known place. Managed to snag boxes of PAM64 Principes and Coronas for, what is now, ridiculously low prices - less than $6 per. But now, they’re going for much, much more. d'oh!

Since then I sparingly smoke my remaining Padrons. I’ve bought some for special occasions but only at 10%, maybe 15% off of list. It’ll be a cold day in h-e-l-l before you find Padrons at really good prices…but if you do, better snap them up!

Good luck in your search! Herfing

More disturbing, we can type asshats as opposed to azzhats? Why have we been self censoring so much?

Best I'm seeing is $208.00 for a box of Padron 1964 Anniversary Series Maduro Principe.

I would have thought that MAP violates anti-trust laws, but apparently not.

How about Asswipes?

That seems ok too. ****?

Assh0le was too much for the algorithm. It has standards, ya know.

Padron's (and many others) import warehouse is in Miami. Maybe they sell them a little cheaper like Perdomo, LGC and Pepin did at their shops? Next time I am in Miami I will look into it...

The other day I noticed that Padron Anniversarios are now more expensive than even Davidoff! Go figure...

In my limited experience with Davidoff, I haven’t been very impressed and even though they may cost more, would still smoke an Anniverario over the equivalent Davidoff. Of course ymmv.

Near my house there is a grocery store that has a fairly nice walk in humidor in the wine and spirits side that sells pardons for around 40% less than my regular shop/lounge does so that is where I buy mine which is not often.

I agree with you. Was just pointing out current price disparity.

Yup, when I was working for Sony back in the early '80s, one of the Accounting clerks would go through every ad by every authorized Sony dealer and if they advertised under MAP, we would deny them co-op money to help pay for their ad. Didn't matter if it was printed, radio or TV. You followed our rules or you paid the price! And it was perfectly legal.
