Can’t add much to what’s already been mentioned but will throw Rojas into the Time-to-Move-Up list. But a word or two (…if you haven’t already figured these out…):
Almost every brand will have a wide range of blends so you might wanna do a little research before jumping into something and be disappointed ‘cause it doesn’t fit your wheelhouse. But wait, do you have a wheelhouse yet? So if you don’t really have one, mebbe work on finding one?
If you don’t already read reviews, I would suggest doing that but find reviewers that have similar tastes as you. Might take awhile and you may come across smokes that the reviewer will love but you won’t. And vice versa. Within the process of reading reviews, take notes on the blends you’re reading about or smoking. Wrapper, binder, filler and vitola would be good to keep track of. Did you like it? Were there flavors you could discern? Could you detect transitions or was it a one-trick pony? Etc., etc., etc. Hopefully, at some point you’ll figure out what blend combos you like regardless of what anybody says.
Lastly, as Stogie and Huzza have suggested, get active on the board. Do some trades, participate in the PIBs, etc. Your horizons will broaden exponentially as you expand your exposure.
