Well, let's not forget about using the crock pot for breakfast as well. Oatmeal, for instance, is great in the CP, but not your cheap instant stuff. Start with some steel cut oats, cut up some apples, add some raisins, some cinnamon, and other things like dried cranberries (use your imagination). Put all this in the CP at night (don't forget to add the water) and flip it on low before you hit the rack. When you wake up in the morning you'll smell all that goodness coming from the CP. Dish it up, add some walnuts and a little maple syrup (or honey), some cream (if you wish) and serve.
