..........Over A Dozen Times Since President Took Office
By Zach Jewell, Apr 8, 2023, DailyWire.com

The son of billionaire leftist megadonor George Soros met with top U.S. officials at the White House 14 times since President Joe Biden took office.

Alexander Soros, 37, chairs the Open Society Foundations, the network founded by his father that donates to leftist causes and political candidates focused on reshaping the American justice system. White House visitor logs reviewed by the New York Post showed that Alexander has visited the White House 14 times since October 2021.

The Democratic fundraiser’s son most recently traveled to Biden’s White House on December 1, when he met with then-Chief of Staff Ron Klain’s adviser Nina Srivastava. Alexander also attended a lavish dinner honoring French President Emmanuel Macron that was put on by the president and first lady Jill Biden on the South Lawn, the Post reported.

On October 6, 2022, Alexander met with Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer and Kimberly Lang, a National Security Advisor executive assistant. Alexander met with Finer on three separate occasions. Madeline Strasser, another adviser to Klain, met with the younger Soros in October 2021 and April 2022.

Mike Howell, Heritage Foundation Oversight Project director, told Fox News that Alexander’s time in the White House is concerning, adding that the Soros family “has done incalculable damage to our country.”

“The death and destruction of their policies are evident at our borders and in our crime-infested cities,” Howell said. “The left is addicted to their money, and they don’t even bother hiding it anymore.”

Alexander has posted photos of himself with major Democratic leaders such as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and former President Barack Obama. He has donated over $11 million to leftist PACs since 2010, according to the Post. In 2018, Alexander donated $2 million to the Senate Majority PAC

George Soros and his family faced increased scrutiny after former President Donald Trump connected him to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg as Trump faces a criminal trial for his alleged hush money payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign. The elder Soros donated $1 million to the Color of Change PAC, which in turn spent $1 million on efforts that boosted Bragg’s campaign for district attorney. George denied knowing Bragg, accusing those on the Right of “focus[ing] on far-fetched conspiracy theories [instead of] on the serious charges against the former president.”

George Soros’ other son Jonathan and his wife Jennifer Allan Soros donated directly to Bragg’s campaign, each cutting a $10,000 check for the leftist district attorney in April 2021.

Of course he did.

If you donated the kind of money that nazi did you'd want to look at the Commander In Thief in his eyes and make sure he understands his orders.

Old man Soros said he didn't donate to Bragg’s campaign...technically true but he's a sneaky lying conniving basturd..
He did donate $1Mil a roundabout way through his donations to the radical lefty group Color of Change which he's done before. Color of Change used its money to campaign for Bragg—and other far-left candidates. Soros knows what that money was going to be used for as well as funneling more $ directly through his son's direct donations.

Another rule is necessary from keeping dark money out so that the uber wealthy can't influence election or policy nearly as much as they can now.

Yup. There are places on the annual disclosure form to disclose, explain away and argue with the statutes listed for each question asked.

George Soros' son's trips to Biden White House with war chest could cause 'double the damage'

By Taylor Penley, Apr 10. 2023, Fox News

Liberal billionaire George Soros' son Alexander is under scrutiny after Biden White House records revealed he visited over a dozen times in the last two years, raising concerns over the family's growing influence on top Democratic politicians shaping U.S. policy.

"It's looking like Alex Soros is primed to take over the Soros empire. Obviously, his father in his nineties cannot do it forever," Matt Palumbo, "The Man Behind the Curtain"' author said Monday on "Fox & Friends First."

Alex, who has worked to carry his father's torch assisting fundraising efforts for the Democratic Party, traveled to the White House at least 14 times since October 2021 and had meetings with multiple officials including staffers to then-Chief of Staff Ron Klain and national security officials, according to White House visitor logs reviewed by Fox News Digital.

Palumbo argued this should especially raise eyebrows considering the current state of U.S. foreign relations.

"[It's] notable that almost all, with the exception of Ron Klain, who had the president's ear, obviously were involved in national security," he said. "Ukraine is a country where the Soros family has unfortunately boasted a lot of influence. There is tens, if not hundreds of billions of dollars being thrown around there. So I think that will be something worth circling back on in coming months or years."

Despite George Soros' notorious sway among political circles, Palumbo said the younger Soros could someday boast even more power, noting Alex has been flaunting his influence on social media with pictures of himself alongside Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and former President Barack Obama.

He also alleged Alex is already influencing his father with his own progressive views.

"He's standing on $11 million of his own money. Now, that may seem like a drop in the bucket compared to his father. And it is, but it's not going to be that way forever," he said.

"The way I would put it is George Soros, over his career, has spent around $20 billion, his Open Society Foundation, which is the vehicle by which he makes this spending, has around $20 billion on its balance sheet. So when Alex takes over, he has a war chest that is basically able to, I would say, at a minimum, double the amount of damage his father is going to do and probably more."

"I mean, each generation is unfortunately a little more socially progressive, and I think even his son already is influencing the father on those sorts of issues," he continued.

The logs detailing visits by Alex to the White House were first reported by the New York Post on Saturday.

George Soros has targeted numerous prosecutor races with millions of dollars in recent years. The family recently came under fire for its involvement in pushing to prominence Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, whose investigations into Trump led to an indictment of the former president last week.

Fox News Digital previously reported that in May 2021, George Soros pushed $1 million to the Color of Change PAC, which turned around and spent big, backing Bragg's candidacy.

And of course the Soros influence over the White House is not new. It seems to have began under President Obama.

George Soros has visited the White House 5 times

By Matthew Vadum, June 21, 2012

Radical philanthropist George Soros has visited the White House on at least five occasions since Barack Obama became president.

Perhaps Soros has some influence over Obama administration policy. Soros co-founded the ultra-secretive Democracy Alliance, a billionaires’ club that wants to radically transform America. He has said that European-style socialism “is exactly what we need now” and favors American decline. Soros, a currency manipulator with an insider-trading conviction, praises Red China effusively, saying the totalitarian nation has “a better-functioning government than the United States.”

The data appears in the White House’s online visitor access database. It is possible that Soros, the preeminent funder of the activist Left, visited the Obama White House more than five times because records of visits between January 20 and September 15, 2009 are not available in the database.

Here are the details of the visits:

On February 25, 2009 Soros visited David Lipton, then a White House economic adviser. (file #U70808)

On February 25, 2009 Soros visited Lawrence (Larry) Summers, who at the time was chairman of the White House U.S. National Economic Council for President Barack Obama. (file #U71032)

On March 24, 2009 Soros visited Christina “Tina” Tchen. (file #U80165) Tchen is Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement. According to her online bio from the White House website:

Tchen was previously a partner in corporate litigation at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. In that capacity, Tchen represented public agencies in state and federal class actions, including the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, the Illinois Department of Public Aid, and the Chicago Housing Authority. Tchen is the recipient of many awards, including the Leadership Award from the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (1999); “Women of Achievement” award from the Anti-Defamation League (1996); and Chicago Lawyer “Person of the Year” (1994).

On March 25, 2009 Soros visited Lipton again. (file #U80759)

On February 16, 2010, Soros visited Summers (again) . (file #U79042)

Maybe, maybe not. But honestly Frank, can you name another administration that has done this much damage to our country in this short period of time?

Watergate was a doozy...and had actual hard evidence of an attempt to rig an election, along with 3 or so presidents leading up to and including Nixon who split the country by lying about Vietnam...

Probably a few others as well.

I guess we could discuss our definitions of "damage" which would reflect in our differences of opinion on good vs bad administrations.

I don't believe Biden's admin is very good, but I felt stronger about Trump's, which you probably already know.

edit:
I was also trying to bring a little MCFA levity to the table with the Amish post...

If the Amish didn’t answer their phone it’s because they haven’t had a chance to charge it at an English friend’s home or car.😁

The Amish aren't consuming the poison of TV, Radio, Social Media, or for that matter... the engineered food of the rest of us, either.

They raise their own animals and grow their own crops. Who knew the anti-technology folks we all laughed at had it right the whole damn time.

It's sad, really. Technology has corrupted us so badly that the Amish are the last bastion of goodness. And boy can those brothers raise a barn.

Watergate was not a good look. Nixon got what he deserved as he should have. Even as bad as it was, I never felt the country would not survive Watergate or the war protest.

I'm not so sure with the present administration.

Frank, I'm surprised you didn't play the Jan 6, card. You know, Jan 6, was worse than Watergate.
