That's just not true, IMO.
Foreign publications such as The Economist (from Britain) and Al Jazira (surprise!) report on American and worldwide news factually- exactly like they see it- from the outside looking in, but are biased on British and Muslim/Middle East politics, respectively.
WAPO and NYT are good for some deeply detailed alleged facts, but are slanted left.
WSJ news is neutral on business info, shows depth and alleged facts, but is slanted right on American politics (same owner as FOX).
A little taste of each and some other sources are good enough for me, depending on the subject matter.
Take it for what it's worth YMMV.
