Steve gifted me a few of these and I enjoyed one about an hour ago...I wish I had eaten before lighting it up..LOL..Beautiful dark dark wrapper with a few small veins...Full flavored but unbelievably smooth!..Never got harsh at all!..Incredible aroma!..Spicy too...I guess I would describe the flavor as a cross between a Fuente Sungrown (YUM!!), an Opus, and a La Perla Habana..The flavor changed throughout, starting somewhat medium bodied and then after 1/2 an inch or so, developing into a robust wonderful full bodied cigar...The last two inches was heaven!..I didn't want it to end...Had to touch it up with the torch lighter twice (uneven burn..My fault because I angled the guillotine cutter just as I clipped the head)...I really enjoyed it and I think I found a new favorite smoke!!..Next time, I think I will make sure I have something in my stomach..WOW!
Thanks again Steve!

!@#$?!...Well, THAT couldn't be more embarassing...As soon as I get offline, I realized my mistake...I actually did a good impression of Homer Simpson (DOH!)...DrMaddvibe (Johann) was the one that gifted me with the Bucanero Full Sail Maduro..Sorry about that!...Thanks Johann!...I really enjoyed it!!
(Can I blame my mistake on having one kidney?...LOL)

I'm on the Bucanero bandwagon as well, I had one of the Maduro belicosos and I was blown away!! Great complex, spicy, and just plain interesting smoke. I will definitely need to pick up a box!!

I forgot to mention that I have real good luck using a V-cutter for this cigar and others like it.

86 bucks out the door for Full Sails anyday. Box of 10. I don't know about the others in the line because I'm hooked on the flavorful blast of the Full Sails. The others that I've had are very good, it's just if I'm going to smoke a cigar I want to know an hour later I had one!

Rick, never got your emails bro...Email sent to ya...Do they come in boxes of 20 or 25?...eighty something dollars for ten sticks seem kind of expensive...The wooden box you sent me (Dr) seems like it would hold twenty or so

I am intrigued with this Bucarreo (sp)! What is there origin and are they available in California, as I am embarrassed to say I have never heard of or seen one! Not that I am some kind of cigar maven, but I thought I knew most of them! Thanks. They sound great, educate me!

Bucanero ... somewhat limited in production, has virtually no availability in California or anywhere else on the West Coast, so don't be embarrassed to have never heard of or seen one ...

They are a very good cigar ... MrsS picked up some for me back east earlier this summer and I got a couple of more while we were on vacation ...

also, don't worry about not being a maven ... that's Rick's assignment.

Are they really that good, or is it one of those hard to find cigars that "folks rave about because they found one"?

Matter of taste, I guess ... I think they're good ... I count them among my favorites.

Keith, that's for a box of 10. Full Sails only come in 10. He doesn't charge any less for a box than he would if he sold them single. They're an 8 dollar stick wherever I've found them.

I was just on their website...

For you guys in California where there's no representation they offer up a full box of smokes if there's no retailer. Check it out.
