Bunch of crap...
Makes zero sense to me...
I hate plowing into the locked door at
Convenient stores trying to leave while holding stuff...

At least they could hang/tape a crappy handwritten
8.5x11 sheet of paper sign at eye level saying...

"DOOR IS LOCKED, FOR NO GOOD REASON"...

DUMB BASTIDS...

So they can laugh at you when you face plant into the door. Plus it's all on tape for them to review when they need a good laugh in the future.

Gas station down the street has had one door locked for many many years.

I still try to use it. I'll even go in, remind myself that the door to the right when exiting is going to be locked, but then when I walk out I forget. I asked why it was locked when it first started being locked and they said it was broken. That was when I was still driving my Dakota, so before 12/2015.

Guess it's still broken. You'd think that's a fire code violation or something.

Probably discriminating against people in wheelchairs or super big persons…ADA laws require at least a 32” door so probably keep one locked to make it hard for them.
