Not bad here, the sky was a little hazy earlier in the day with a smell of smoke in the air. I saw that Downstate looked like armageddon with everything covered in orange smoke.

It wasn't any HADJI TERRORISTS! I heard the weirdo peeps are blaming it on the TERROR of CLIMATE CHANGE. BWAHAHAHA!

Saw the “news” this morning and people in NYC bitching because the air quality number hit just over 100 and they cancelled a baseball game.

Well Boo freaking Hoo….start crying me a river when you see 490.

People in Chinese industrial burgs see air quality like this every day of their miserable existence...

Their lungs must be toast by 45 yrs old.

I saw close to 490 during the 2020 fires and that was smoke from 60 miles away. The car was covered in ash. Those pictures of NYC look like my backyard during August-September 2020. …and 2017.

Face diapers are a THING again? I heard some doctors say on TV that properly fitted N95's may keep some larger smoke particulates out but not all. Regular cloth coverings and procedure masks don't do chit with smoke, just like with COVID.
True believers will wear them anyway as a show of their continued religious devotion to the Face Diaper Cult.

Then there are those unique individuals who are on the cutting edge like The Diaper Lady pictured in the Diaper Report: 06/05/2023. She's ready for anything whether it's COVID or the orange Martian landscape of the current East Coast.

Starting to clear a bit here. Spotted a bear across the street and he was moving pretty slowly. I was going to tell him to put on a mask or stay inside, but he was kinda big and I was too tired for a confrontation.

N95’s do work for smoke to an extent, they are really necessary in that for people with respiratory issues. We actually have had people ask us if they could buy our PPE…..
