Inert gas for tobacco beetle control?

Asking a question if anybody has used inert gases, such as argon or nitrogen to kill tobacco beetle infestation. I found a cigar with a tobacco beetle hole in it today. Completely inspected my coolerador and found no other cigars with issues. Nor did I find any beetles. I know it is recommended to place your cigars in Ziploc bags and freeze them and then slowly bring them back to storage temperature so as not to damage them. I do not like the idea of freezing my cigars very much. I know it will kill the active pests. Just know freeze can adversely affect oils in things. I have access to argon due to me being a TIG welder. I know that argon and nitrogen are used to kill insects in herbs and other dried products. I know that argon and nitrogen are used in the wine industry to stop oxidation. They use the gases because they do not impart any flavor or degrade the wines. Just curious if anybody else out there has use this method to protect their cigar investment. My only temperature issue is cigars that I order online that are shipped to me. I live in a very warm climate. And the cigars are often not in a safe temperature during shipping. Any thoughts?

I’m not going to introduce an inert gas into a item that is processed via fermentation, industrial freezer.

Freezing cigars works perfectly. I have frozen at least $10k worth of cigars without a problem. Some of them were rare and very expensive. No risk. Zero change in quality. WHY TRY TO CHANGE THE GOLDEN STANDARD?

Wrap the box or bundle in saran wrap in both directions, seal it and just leave it in the freezer for 5 days or longer. When you take it out, wait a day to take the saran wrap off and you will be 100% good to go.

You must do this with all your cigars, now that you found a beetle hole.

If you want any more advice PM me.
