That thinks Taylor Sheridan has bitten off a bit more than he can chew?

He had great success with the Sicario movies which were followed up with even greater success when he wrote and produced Yellowstone.

Fast forward a bit and there were two Yellowstone prequel spin-offs in 1883 and 1923. Then apparently there was to be a lateral offshoot of Yellowstone titled 6666.

On other fronts, he produced Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingston.

If was reported ad-nauseam that he built universes. But, where are those universes? Yellowstone is apparently going to end. The only question is has it already ended or will there be another season? I don’t think anyone really knows at this point.

Then there is 1883. It was supposed to be a single 10 episode season. Now it’s being floated as a new show called either 1883: The Bass Reeves Story or Lawman: Bass Reeves which would be a show about the first black deputy US Marshall. As of now, it’s just a rumor so who knows when, if or what direction this idea will manifest.

Then there is 1923. Supposedly it’s currently in production. But, no one seems to know when season 2 will air.

What about 6666. It’s also in production with no known air date.

But wait there’s more. Now there is talk of yet another spinoff called 1944.

It’s really unfortunate that Sheridan has taken his fans for granted. This reminds me of the old Wendy’s commercials. Where’s the beef?

There is a writer’s strike that has slowed or halted production for most shows…

I’ve liked all his shows so far..

+1

I AM NOT BILL GATES
CANT AFFORD PAY CHANNELS

I HAVE HEARD VERY GOOD REVIEWS ON THEM THOUGH.

KEVIN Costner gets bored after 5 yrs of anything....
Shows, houses, womens...any woman....he just up and leaves...
He has anything boredom-itis....

He even got bored with Halle Berry?
Not sure how that could ever happen , but it did...
aLLeDgEdLy

He is an excellent actor though.

Have you seen Costner in,

"Mr. BROOKS"?

IF NOT...

Not his usual story line...he is a pottery enthusiast amongst other attributes...

I’ve liked them all so far as well.

on the other hand, the writer’s strike began in early May so I don’t think that had any effect except for the last 6-7 weeks. According to initial projections most of those shows should have completed production before the strike began. I think he was a bit over ambitious and got in over his head. Hopefully, he’ll get it straitened out before he damages his brand.

Haven’t seen this. Costner has been hit or miss for me. Liked DWW. WW was ok. Didn’t see Bodyguard or anything else with him that comes to mind.

Yellowstone - Good
1883 - Good
1923 - I’m not totally sure I finished it yet. If so then waiting for a season 2

Loved the first three seasons. One scene was COMPLETELY unrealistic in season 4 (or maybe 5th) that moved me down to Like.

1883 starts on Paramount tonight. Willing to give that a shot.

Hollywood like to milk a series until it is unwatchable. Think there might be a profit motive there or something.

It is one of Costners' better movies but he has way better ones, and the plot is a bit "off" to say the least...he shows a dark side very convincingly...
But I think it will entertain you,
It's worth the watch...

Oh, just a rerun of the first season. I was thinking you meant 1923.
