I’d like to find something similar to the Montecristo #2 or cohiba siglo
I’ve tried the Cuban alternative from jr cigars & wasn’t too impressed as they didn’t taste the same and were overly tight and had a slight smell of ammonia.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
I don’t have anything for you ‘cause, and I’mma sure you fully realize this by now (…or will at some point in time…), there is nothing that comes close to a real, properly stored and aged Cuban cigar.
It’s like when I worked for Sony in the ‘80s. Our competition would always try to convince customers that their TVs were “just as good as a Sony”. No, they weren’t. Not even close.
Either just smoke your current inventory while hoping, praying and waiting out the crazy prices on CCs or restrain your CC consumption while exploring the world of non-Cubans and enjoy the width and breadth.
Good luck on whatever you decide to do.
