Supposedly their Democratic Socialist Think Tank works in the pursuit of progressive solutions to economic, environmental, racial and social justice issues. They say they "Envision the World We Want" and will convene a gathering of 250 leading national and international progressive thought leaders to revitalize duhmocracy with progressive solutions to economic, environmental, racial and social justice issues.
Sure..Sure..where have I heard that Commie claptrap before?

Sanders campaign has given $275,000 to nonprofit founded by wife, stepson, so far this year

Under federal election law, campaign committees can make charitable donations, but there are some regulations.

Quote:
Friends of Bernie Sanders, the main campaign committee for the Vermont independent senator, has given $275,000 to the Sanders Institute, a nonprofit founded by Sanders' wife and stepson, campaign records show.

The first donation of $100,000 was made in January 2023, with a second donation for the same amount in March, according to Federal Election Commission records.

The latest donation was for $75,000 on Aug. 8, according to filings for the third quarter of 2023.

Sanders' wife, Jane O'Meara Sanders, founded the institute and alongside her son, David Driscoll, who still serves as an executive director of the group, according to the institute's website.

The think tank, which was founded the same year Sanders ran for president in 2016, states that its mission is to "revitalize democracy by actively engaging individuals, organizations and the media in the pursuit of progressive solutions to economic, environmental, racial and social justice issues."

The funny thing is the only "Gathering" of minds they've held was November 29 - December 1, 2018.
Their website is otherwise devoid of any articles or studies displaying any pursuit of progressive solutions to revitalize duhmocracy..

It’s top secret work!
Of course they aren’t going publicize the important work they do.

True...True...
Revitalizing duhmocracy has always been a stealth operation.
I've learned that from watching LEFTIES. It always involves brainwashing the proletariat under the pretense of a good liberal education, and some repeated virtue signaling doesn't hurt either. They certainly don't want to publicize their techniques openly.

I never could help but notice also that moving large sums of cash into the hands of socialist elites from donors and unsuspecting taxpayers keeps the progressive machine greased.

I think THE question that matters is, did he give 10% to the Big Guy.

All else is irrelevant.

The Sanders Institute does have a main website.
They actually have a board of directors allegedly, 3 people only including Danny Glover.
And they even have fellows, including notable Demo-Socialists like Robert Reich, Pramila Jayapal, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Dr. Cornel West, Robert Pollin and Mrs. Jane O’Meara Sanders. Even Harry Belafonte, but he's dead now. A bunch of other leftist schmucks too including some I never heard of.
And they have blog posts too about the usual leftist drivel, like Right-Wing threats to duhmacracy, the existential threat of climate change, the evils of fossil fuels, sanctuary states, socialism for all, this kind of justice, that kind of justice, every kind of justice, stuff like that.
They sell books too by the usual cast of lefty characters and they take donations.
I don't know why the Sanders campaign needs to funnel so much cash into an 501(c)(3) institute that Bernie's wife and son co-founded, but it sounds pretty fishy for just a lame website.
