Not sure if this will get me banned here, but it seems that all I see on CB are 5 Vegas, RP's, Diesel, Gurkha, blah blah blah. Im not necessarily throwing stones at these cigars, but why is there such a lack of real diversity available on this site? I buy a lot of stuff here, and of course some of its really good at great prices but man is it getting boring.
What am I missing? Why is the selection so limited?

Well there are many reasons for this, but why bother rehashing old news.
Let’s look at the bright side, ya know, a glass half full perspective.

They are selling Padrons again, full price, but hey, at least they list them.

There are more Fuente offerings.

Shipping, although still pricey, seems to be much better than in years past.

The website has pretty much been issue free for a long time now (did you forget about the great software update fiasco?)

They still host this Forum………and it’s not policed nearly as “brutally” as it used to be (clearly you never had La Princessa’s spiked heels smashing your balz)…….for example, Z’s comment above? In da olden days, that would get you banned for a week or so…..well not Z…….but for the rest of us it was into the dungeon.

Despite MAP pricing, there are still a handful of deals available here on some decent midrange smokes.

Well you’re right about that much for sure. I guess I’m looking for the diamond in the rough deals here and just not seeing enough.
I don’t think I was around for a ball smashing by La Pricessa but my wife is smashing whatever she can lay her hands on every month when the credit card bill comes and CB is all that’s on there!

Huh? Really? Think

Now granted, I don’t peruse the bids like I usedta but 10 years ago you could find the gamut of Fuentes from the proletarian to the plebeian smokes almost everyday of the week. Or at least when the HFT / Limited releases were available. Hemingway Maduros, Anejos, OX in almost all of the vitolas were up for grabs. Last time I checked, the Fuente offerings are a shell of what they once were.

Nonetheless, before MAP and then COVID, I was able to buy the blends and vitolas I wanted so no real reason to shop and bid. And, at the current starting prices, there’s almost no way I’mma gonna bid on anything anyway.

^ yeah your best bet is saying how sites won’t ship to you anymore and you’re low on stock……

Let the rest work itself out.

Hahahaha! Well, I can work around the shipping part but can’t bid / buy if they don’t offer it.

Well, let me restate that.
There are now more Fuente offerings than there was a few years back, when if I recall correctly, there were times when there was zero Fuente products.
Of course this place isn’t anything like it was 10+ years ago…………. but then……….nothing is….

On behalf of the Forum members, I accept your apologize. jester

But all kidding aside, for S&G I checked out the Fuente section and like you said, found more offerings than 3-4 years back but still nothing I would try to buy.
