Let’s put all potential POTY candidates here.

To help us understand why it’s a candidate, post both the OP(s) and the retort.

Depending on the number of candidates, elimination polls may be used to help narrow it down to the finalists.

Mebbe.

But yah, I kinda forgot about the 2020 POTY thread and when I ran across it, there was an emptiness in me when I realized there was no finality. Gotta have some sort of closure, right?

Ultimately, another way to MCBFA! Beer

I vote Jake and Lee (maybe?) For vocab words of the year. Romusto and Telenubbed respectively

Gong to have to give my memory cells a workout for POTY nominations though

But wouldn’t that be for 2022, not 2023?

You could, mebbe, start a thread for VWOTY candidates? Think

Valid point. That would be '22. Field of competition is likely not as heavy as POTY, but VWOTY is a possibility

Just going by the "views" on the main Cigar Discussion page. 3386 counts as a "few" thousand. I didn't even have to take my shoes off to count that one.

That is a great candidate post. Certainly within the top 25 of the entire time I have been here, which is over 15 years.
Good nomination!

By virtue of no other candidates, looks like Tiver wins the POTY 2023.

Let’s hope we can do better this year.
