I recently signed up for this. Any feedback? Hints to get more cigars? Any help from experienced Big Smokers would be appreciated.

P.S. I walked out with twice the amount I paid in just cigars at the Denver big smoke. I enjoyed meeting all of the reps. and cigar big wigs, worth every penny!!!

Can't say anything about the Vegas Big Smoke..I went to the Chicago Big Smoke in March for the first time..Got approx 40-50 stogies, met the bigwigs (Carlos Fuente, Borhani, Ozgener from CAO, The Gomez's from La Flor Dominica, Felipe Gregorio, etc)...The food was worth the $150 ticket price alone, which consisted of gourmet dishes (Sliced Beef Tenderloins, steak, Sushi, you name it-all you can eat!) and anything you want to drink including top shelf liquors!..I will be going every year now and wish I went several years ago!..What a great time!..They say the Vegas Big Smoke is the largest of all the big smokes because its three days long with the cigar seminars, etc..Have a good time!

Thanks for the feedback guys! Any "tricks" to getting more/better sticks? Or, does everyone get the same stuff? FYI- the Vegas Big Smoke is put on by Cigar Afficiando magazine. See the mag for more info.

No real tricks for getting better sticks because you get a coupon book for each vendor where you trade one coupon for one cigar (or a pack)...I did find several coupons on the ground that people have accidentally dropped, so keep an eye on the ground for these..Also, the duffel bag you will get when you walk in to hold your stogies will fill up fast...I recommend taking all the ads, flyers, brochures, etc and tossing them in the trash to make more room for the stogies...and ask for a few empty boxes from some of the vendors to put your stogies in so they dont get damaged (saves room too)...Have a good time!..Ive heard the three day Vegas Big Smoke is absolutely incredible compared to the one day (three hour) Big Smokes in Chicago or other cities.

Almost forgot...I made the mistake of not bringing a camera...Bring a camera and a few rolls of film if you want photos of you with Carlos Fuente, Tony Borhani, etc, and the other bignames...Its pretty cool!..They really seem to appreciate cigar smokers and will talk with you for a few minutes and answer any questions..They'll all sign your duffel bag too...I still have mine with about fifteen signatures...And go there HUNGRY!!..

Great information from a BOTL who has been to an event. Have any of you been to any events in the last 2 or 3 years? I’ve heard on YouTube that the events have grown and the attendance has gotten really packed and that the price of admission has increased a great deal. Anyone have real experience they’d like to share?
