I just recieved my first humidor purchased right here on cigarbid. I am new to cigar smoking and am looking for suggestions on what to fill it with. I have tried a CAO anniversary and really liked that. I tend to like full bodied coffee, chocolate type cigars. Thanks for any suggestions

Search for a post in this dept. called "Favorite maduros?" You'll find tons of stuff there.

A new smoker that likes full bodied cigars! Wow, go for Onyx REserves, Excaliburs, Padrons, Ashton VSG (if you can get em) and La Perlas!

EL Rey Del Mundo, robustos or rothschildes, the price can't be beat!

I smoked my first El Del Rey Mundo in several years, thanks Jazzman, and I had forgotten how really good they were! Ditto on adding them to the listing! And priced right too!

As a dedicated full-bodied maduro smoker, I gotta say

YES

to all of the above ... not a single cigar mentioned up there that I would not endorse ... do take DMVs advise and check out the "favorite maduros" thread ... lots of good input in that one ...

He's slipping in his old age... ;-P

SteveS - drop me a line if you want to smoke this weekend. I picked up a CAO Black Presidente Maduro that needs two hours of my time. 7yrs of age = woo hoo!!

oh, crap ... that JdN Antano must've gone more to my brain than I'd thought ... sorry, Danny

Tag23m ... I was supposed to have mentioned that as a new guy on the board, you are required to send a cigar to each of the established members ... your choice as to what to send (and whether or not to leave the cello on), but as you'll quickly realize, everyone's opinion of you will be formed based on what you sent 'em ...

By way of making things up to Danny, please ... put his name at the top of the list ... and, as for what to send everyone ... see the list of suggestions above.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I would be happy to go through the initiation if it means that i might get something in return someday.... It is hard to fill a humidor if you are giving away all of your cigars. Email me your addresses and I will send something your way. [email protected].

Thanks again

Tag,remember if you fill your humidor with flavored cigars as well as non-flavored,the non-flavored will pick up the taste as well. You should separate flavored from non and keep all similar flavors together. X

TAG

check your e-mail address ... somehow, my e-mail program is saying that's not a proper addy and it's not letting me send a note to you ... if you like, you can send ME a note to which I will respond ... and the word 'from' IS part of my addy
