OK, What the hell am I am the only person who has not had the opp. to smoke an OPUSX? I have smoked alot of great stick, but have yet to score one of these or even seen one for sale. Is it just me or can i get cubans great ones at that before i can get my hands on one of these badboys? Sorry I just want to know that i am not the only one out there. And i am afraid that when i do see one that the old saying will come in to play "A FOOL AND HIS MONEY WILL BE SOON PARTED" and i will pay big just to try one of these badboys. I know what these stix should go for, but i have seen that they go for as much as 45.00 a stick, I will be damned if i am gonna pay that just to try one!! I just want someother exp. cigar smokers let me know that i am not the only one out there with this problem. OK I WILL GET OFF MY SOAP BOX NOW!!!!!!

Search this forum (Cigars and related)for the words "MSRP Opus X"...There's a link for the MSRP (if I remember correctly) for Opus X...Expect to pay btwn $9 and $15 for one depending on which ones...The ones I've had (approx twelve to fifteen sticks total-all different ones) were either one of two things: unbelievably excellent or (on the other side of the coin) tasted as if its made of young tobacco (so much for that line "We will never rush the hands of time"..LOL..Overall, most have been just incredibly good!...Ashton VSG (IMHO) is a better deal and more consistent in construction and flavor.....I've never had a bad VSG yet

Once a week the store near me puts out a box or two. The are sold out in a few days. I picked up a couple of Perfection 2 at $18 and a Fuente Fuente at $15. They limit 5 per customer.

Must be nice freecigars. We get em about twice a year and limit 2. There are 3 right now at one store in a small humidor. Only $150 for the set.

D,
I asked you this on the "Ocaso" thread, but where in TX are you? I'm in Lubbock, not a huge market, and we get Opus at least every year. They go fast. I've got a large Opus, it's either a Perfecxion X or a Reserva D' Chateau, that's been aging almost a year, and I'll trade you if you'd like. I'll post it on the "Trades" board.
