I read in one of the posts that someone lives in Southeast Asia. I am in the Navy, and will be making a Western Pacific cruise around Sprig of 2003. Get me a mailing address, and maybe I could have a contact in that part of the world.

Most newbies do when they first start out, but then they usually move on to the more full-bodied, robust North American variations 8-)

Hey Tarheel. Last time I was in Southeast Asia, in the "Nav", people were shooting at me. I made a lot of contacts, but I didn't manage to get any names and addresses.

Sorry. (they were) I'm sure you'll have better luck.

BEWARE SHIPMATE OF THE MAMASANS!

Seriously, have a great time. Enjoy these times in the Navy. You'll miss them and long for them when they're gone.

One more thing. Only smoke gars you bring or get at the Exchange or ships stores. no wacky tabacky!

My wonderful wife of 8 years just so happens to be Filipina. I guess I'll have to take you guys' word about the North Americans.....
