So...I went out last weekend with some cigars in tow and headed out to have dinner and to a party. Wasn't feeling so hot and came home after dinner...

Left the cigars in the middle console of the car (along with misc. items that are usually in that compartment - lip gloss, pen, peppermint gum, Purell hand sanitizer, and some papers) and forgot about them until today!

I had an strep infection and spent most of last week and the weekend in bed and on antibiotics (which are eatting up my stomach) until this Friday...3 words that should apply and be heeded before and after using gym equipment: WIPE IT OFF!!!! Yeah, I probably got it at the gym :( figures, I don't workout for over 6 months, and the second week back at it, I get germed!

Back to the story, sooooo, cigars in car, me in bed, gum in car, my bad?

**Just how much 'flavor' do you think the gum imparted onto these cigars, and might they be ruined?**

Oh, and btw, they are: 2 Sportsman's Reserve, 1 Rastafari something or other, and 1 Santa Damiana La Romana (watch out!) both gifted to me from Jim R.

I'll let you know when I get the nerve to smoke 'em...

Oh Man, Thats too bad. Gum is the number one flavor killer of cigars. (Next to ACID leaves of course.)

You better just send em to me because I can chew gum and smoke at the same time, as long as I am sitting.

(BTW, I did not answer this question on purpose)

If you lived in a drier climate, they might be some pretty dry cigars by this time, but the ambient humidity is high enough there that they should be ok ... if there were a problem, my guess is that it'd be obvious (cracking, peeling, etc) ... put them in your humi and let em rest for a while ... maybe in a bag at first so they don't have such a drastic change ...

They are probably fine, just throw em in the humidor for a couple of days! We have had lots of humidity last week or so, so I doubt if they are even harmed!

You can send them to me and I will check them out and give full report!

LOL! They aren't dried out, just smell like Wrigley's Extra Pepperment *Cigar* flavored gum!
