A few months ago I noticed in a box of my Mayorga's that the paper covering the cigars was soaking up the oily goodness of the cigars. I couldn't allow this so I tore that paper off. Then a month later I opened the box back up and half the top cigars were sticking to the paper on the inside of the box! A few had some wrappers damaged as I pulled them off. So now I put in a cedar liner that came out of another box, hope that works.

never had that happen, although you forced me to go open my box of mayorgas. How hot was the humidor? I know when my box pushes 75 deg my cigars ooze a little more than normal. Actually, I think it makes the wrapper taste better, but the bugs scare me so I keep my box under 72.

the cabinet isn't warm at all, at the peak in the summer it gets to 75 degrees, but that was rare, but doesn't the paper lining the cigars in your box soak up the oils? Probably no big deal, but I can't stand the thought of any part of the cigar being soaked out.
