I have a friend That I work with we both are in to cigars and enjoy bidding on Cbid , But I was told a story that I was not happy with .My friend had a big order from Cbid and when he got the box from UPS It was sealed and In perfect shape sealed, When he opened the box It was full with his order , like we all do he checked his manifest to confirm what was in the box to see if the whole order was there by surprise It was not and there was know room In there for any thing else so he called Cbid and explained what happed ,The first responses Cbids CSR did was to try and blame UPS ,When he explained that the box came sealed and that there was know moor room In the box for any thing else ,Cbid still incised that they were still going to file a claim and blame on UPS ,My friend protested that who ever filled the order made a mistake ,Cbid said O no we don’t make mistakes like that and so on . My friend had to get up set with them be for they agreed to resend the product . I was very surprised how Cbid acted on this mistake and wanted to put the blame on some one else .So I was wondering If any one else had a problem like this , because I have emailed Cbid with problems and the CSR has been very friendly and kind and did what ever they could do to fix problem and put the blame on know one and fixed It ASP .So thanks and I am looking forward to herring your responses

I have to tell you. CBID has been very responsive to me. There have been shipments where some items were omitted and they promptly addressed the problems without question, no blame other than we are sorry.

I must concur with rhino, I've been buying from cigar bid for years and have had few problems. But when I do, customer service ALWAYS takes care of me. They respond to my complaint almost immediately. As for your friend problem, UPS has been known, on occasion, to have a problem with pilfering. C-bid has the right to put a claim in.
C-bid customer service is by far the best I've dealt with on a retail basis.

What kind of demeanor does your friend have? Could it be the way he talked to them? Me,personally have always had XLNT CS. X

dweiss, all companies need to protect themselves
against fraud. If the customer service rep doesn't
put up resistance the company would get taken to the
cleaners. It was resolved -- wasn't it? Hope your

he is an older man in his 60s and we deal a lot with ups , the type of work I do u have to be honest, they catch you lieing about any thing you are history,But I thank you for the responces and like i said I have never had a problem yet with cbid thanks again

I have lost count of the number of bids I have been successful with in the last year or so on c-bid. I would love to be able to tell you how great the customer service is and how nice it is to work with Trish and Gonz, but I have never had an order problem and so have never contacted anybody or had anyone contact me.

I kind of feel neglected.

No problems ever on my end!...When I was in Florida a couple of months ago, Trish was kind enuff to change my shipping address for me (I don't know why I couldn't figure out at the time how to do it myself..DUH)...They've been so great!

I have ALWAYS found Cbid to honest, efficient, expeditious, and they have always demonstrated exemplary business acumen!!! No problems here, and I'm always confident when I win an auction that I won't encounter problems like your friends alleges.

Well thanks a lot for all your responses . I am very grateful for your help ,and It has com to my attention that the package is not mailed from Cbid but comes from CI ,I be leave my friend called the number on the CI manifest thinking he was calling Cbid so I do be leave Cbids csr is outstanding ,like I said I have never had a problem with Cbid and I am going to tell him to call Cbid and ask to speak to Trish. .And once again I really do thank you for all your feed back and help ,you guys are the nicest group and I thank you and will let you know how this all turns out .

You said that you've emailed cbid with problems before. How often to you run into problems with your shipments? Once in a while, once a month, once a shipment?

What few (all of three) problems I had with my Cbid orders, were promptly taken care of and for someone to say that they ran a whole gauntlet of excuses makes me wonder why cbid or ci would act so out of character. Maybe this is just a competitor trying to stir the pot because they can not deliver the constomer service Cbid or CI deliver.

I have had about 8 orders sent in past 3 months and not had a single problem. Sorry to hear you are having a problem. I'm certain Cigarbid will take care of it though.

spiny it is not me , I think cbid is grate this someone i work with i have never had a problem with cb I posted this ,because I was very surprised on what my coworker told me ...
