The Gingerman in Manhattan is a excellent cigar friendly brewpub. As you can see in the pic., there are 150 beers on tap as well as bottled beer. Single malt scotchs and a very comfortable cigar room complete with couches and oversize chairs. They also have great food at very un-NYC-like prices!!

Imagine this, you work at this place pictured above. About 10 times a day you have to run down the entire "menu" for people that can't read or are too drunk to remember what they had.

There's also the "off the street" crowd that pull up to a table without looking at the bar that place their order with a waitress/waiter with the "Gimmie a draft". There was a place in Rochester, MI that looked like that place, only not as many brews offered. It was GREAT!

It's in the village on Morningside. Fantastic selection of beers and big beer garden in back.

Wow, nothing like that on the corner of my small town. Not even in the big metropolis of Green Bay (pop. 90,000). I have to get out more.......

The Gingerman is a great place. Take it from a native New Yorker
